"Trees of Warmth" on Newburgh Campus

In collaboration with the Kindness Initiative, the Newburgh Campus will once again have “Trees of Warmth” (decorated coat racks) in both Kaplan Hall and the Tower Building donned with new hats, gloves, scarves (and some motivational messages!) for those in need.

The “Trees of Warmth” will be stationed in the lobby in Kaplan Hall (near the security
desk) and in the Tower building, as you enter the building, from January 18- March 1.

The hats, gloves, scarves, and motivational messages are there as an offering for those in need of some warmth and encouragement.

If you need some warmth, please feel free to take.

If you know someone in need, please encourage them to take, or take for them.

If you would like to donate NEW hats, gloves or scarves (particularly in need of scarves!), there will be labeled donation boxes in the faculty office suite on the 2nd floor of Kaplan Hall, and on the 4th floor of the Tower Building.  (We can only accept new items, thank you!).

If you are on the Middletown Campus, but would like to donate, please contact Christine Henderson.
