"CHEERS" to SUNY Orange Says Times Herald-Record

The College was the recipient of a "CHEERS" shoutout in the Monday, July 16 edition of the Times Herald-Record. Each Monday, the TH-R editorial offers cheers or jeers to people, businesses, organizations and other entities for their positive, or sometimes negative, impacts upon the local community.

On Monday, the TH-R featured the following recognition of the College:

CHEERS: To SUNY Orange for keeping an old promise and opening a satellite facility in Port Jervis. Summer classes at the new location are being offered at half price, $99 per credit unit, for Orange County residents. The college-credit courses offered include art, nutrition, communication, U.S. history, statistics and English. Students attending the summer session could complete enough credits to begin college in September with a semester’s work behind them. Writing and math courses are also available for college readiness, as well as classes in home buying and the stock market for personal enrichment.
