Apply for the LSAMP Program

You may be eligible to apply for the Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) program at SUNY Orange! This program is designed to help underrepresented minorities succeed in science degrees including math, engineering and computer science.

We hope you will join hundreds of other SUNY students across New York State in this program which is designed to increase the number of underrepresented minorities in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) fields.

 If you are accepted, you will be provided with unique access to faculty, academic support, and research opportunities. Additionally, by participating in a series of workshops you will be provided with money to spend at the SUNY Orange Bookstore, financial support for research experience, and opportunities to attend scientific conferences.

You are encouraged to apply for this great opportunity that will be your gateway to a career in science, technology, engineering & math! The LSAMP program can give you the edge you need to succeed at SUNY Orange and beyond.

You will be notified of your acceptance into the program by Tuesday, Sept. 18. Our first meeting is Thursday Sept. 20 from 11:00am -12:00pm in the Morrison Mansion Library.
