"Moments . An Evening With Bill W." will be Sept. 20

Celebrate Recovery Month with a performance of "Moments..An Evening with Bill W." which is written by Bill McNiff and performed by Andrew Matthews ( Class of 1988 ). The performance will be held at 7 p.m., Sept. 20 on the first floor of the Shepard Student Center (formerly the Cafeteria). Admission is free.

This one-man theatrical performance tells the story of Bill W., the co-founder of the 12 step program of Alcoholics Anonymous. It is a recreation of a moment in time in 1950 when Bill W. comes to speak at the Kip's Bay group in New York City to celebrate its first anniversary.

Come and see Bill tell the " bedtime story" of how his recovery from alcoholism created the 12 step program that has saved millions of lives since it's inception in 1935. See the man that Time magazine named one of the 100 most influential people of the 20th century!
