SUNY Orange College High School Equivalency (HSE) Classes (formerly GED®)

SUNY Orange offers HSE classes for students who need to earn a High School Equivalency Diploma.  We assist with improving writing and math skills using problem solving strategies to enable students to pass the TASC test.  Classes meet on both the Newburgh and Middletown campuses Monday through Thursday each week.  You may choose either mornings from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. or evenings from 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. on either campus.

You must be 18 years of age or older to enroll, and must register in person prior to the start of class.  For Midldletown, register with Student Services Central in the Shepard Student Center.  For Newburgh, please call (845) 341-9543 or (845) 341-9532 to schedule an appointment.  You must be reading at 7-12th grade level to take the course.  Total class fee is $12.

Please do not purchase books in advance; teachers will discuss which book to purchase on the first day of class.
